Melissa Milton brings a wealth of knowledge and the experience of 19 years as a Bay Area mortgage and real estate professional to every client and every transaction.

She joined LaSalle Financial Services in 2005 after holding loan origination, credit officer, and sales management positions over the prior 12 years at several prominent financial service companies, including Wells Fargo and Countrywide. In these positions, Melissa was consistently honored for excellence in customer service as well as high volume loan production. Her clients know her to be personable, informative, and thorough, with an eye to both the important details and the bigger picture.

Along the way, she also earned her credentials as a delegated underwriter of home loans, with a lending authority of $1,000,000. These credit analysis skills, coupled with her keen integrity, mean that Melissa’s clients and business partners can count on her to guide them safely and wisely through the mortgage approval process. She enjoys working closely with her clients to provide them with the information they need to be comfortable making important choices about home financing. Using a consultative approach to mortgage solutions, she keeps her clients’ best interests, short- and long-term, in mind at all times. Melissa has held a California Department of Real Estate broker’s license since 1991. She has conducted many first-time homebuyer seminars and loves public speaking engagements where she can share her expertise and her passion for real estate and mortgage financing. An East Bay resident since 1978, Melissa has owned homes in Kensington, Rockridge, and now Berkeley, where she lives with her teenaged daughter and two cats.
